Day 100: You Are in the Right Place at the Right Time
“I am in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing.”
This affirmation from Louise Hay is exactly what I needed to see this morning.
Things I thought were somewhat settled now appear to be back up in the air.
That led me to wonder if I should sit back and observe, rather than push myself to make a decision just because I had said I would decide today.
Then I read this affirmation, and things inside me quieted down.
I immediately went to the place of, I know this.
Now I need to practice it.
We all need reminders sometimes.
I’m big on seeing or hearing just the right message when it’s needed.
I told you the story of hearing the message I needed after the breast cancer ultrasound, coming from the TV when it couldn’t have been on that channel at all.
And yet, there it was, saying the exact words I needed to hear as I turned it on.
Or the days when all the sources I read from each morning as part of my spiritual practice come together to present one clear message for that day.
Or when I ask myself a question and shortly afterward I get a text or email, and there is the exact resource or answer I needed, handed to me.
It’s important to remember:
I am in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing.
Sometimes it feels anything but that.
And that’s when you need this message the most.
We can’t see the big picture.
What looks like a messy jumble from where you stand can look very different from a higher view.
When I was going through my deepest, darkest time, I spoke with a wise healer who told me it was part of my path to go through challenging things so that when they were over, I could come back and share what I had learned.
To explain things in a way that makes them simple.
To hold space for what’s possible on the other side.
It made sense.
But at the time, it didn’t make me feel better.
Because of course, I wanted it to end yesterday.
I felt like I had already been through enough in my life.
How many more lessons did I need?
And yet, that time was profound.
It fundamentally changed who I am.
And it set the foundation for me to stand at the threshold and help other women cross into their new lives.
I was exactly where I needed to be.
I just needed to trust the path.
So whether this is about a major life change or a simple decision that feels unclear right now, this is true:
You are in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing.

Today’s Gentle Practice
Take a quiet moment today.
Notice where something feels uncertain or unsettled.
Instead of trying to force clarity, pause.
Place one hand on your heart.
Take a slow breath in, and a slow breath out.
And gently say to yourself:
“I am in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing.”
Stay with that for a few breaths.
Notice what softens, even slightly.
If this resonates, I’d love to hear where you are being asked to trust instead of push.
With you,
Lynn
