Day 109: You’re Not Doing This Alone
Do you believe in a higher power in your life?
It’s not just that believing in something bigger than you gives you comfort.
It’s that it gives you a foundation to stand on.
It gives you a co-creator in your life.
If you don’t believe in a divine entity, the energy and vibration of the Universe is backed by science.
It’s how so many things in our daily lives work, and you can relate it back to that.
Or, you could be completely science-based and look at what happens in the brain and how neuroplasticity works.
Otherwise, it’s possible to feel very alone in the world.
This morning the Wayne Dyer reading I did said that God will work with you, not for you.
That’s what co-creation is all about.
I was also reading about your energetic connection this morning, and it was talking about the time between a thought, or asking for what we want, or even just the desire itself forming, and the time it shows up in your life.
It said that period was the buffer of time.
I misread it at first and thought it said the buffet of time.
And honestly, I kind of like that better.
While it was referring to this buffer giving you time to notice how your thought feels, and possibly adjust it so it feels even better, I was picturing a buffet of all the little extras I can add to my initial desire to make it an even better fit for me.
An opportunity to dial it in more by choosing what feels aligned, like I’m selecting options when buying a new car.
Instead, it was talking about adjusting your thoughts to the best feelings you can access in that moment, and then, with an attitude of expectation, allowing yourself to enjoy the unfolding of what you’ve decided to welcome into your life.
I think buffer time and my newly coined buffet time are both useful.
Because either way, you are not being ignored.
There is movement happening.
There is alignment happening.
Having something bigger than you as your co-creator makes all the difference.
You aren’t alone.
You don’t have to do it all by yourself.
My lesson in A Course in Miracles today was:
“I rest in God.”
Simple. Direct.
It said this thought will bring you rest and quiet, peace and stillness, and the safety and happiness you seek.
“The Universe has your back” is saying the same thing.
You choose your messenger.
But the truth underneath it is the same.
You are supported.
Even in the moments it doesn’t feel like it.
Today’s Gentle Practice
Take a quiet moment today.
Think of something you’ve been asking for.
Something you want clarity on or movement around.
Notice what you’ve been doing with it.
The thinking. The checking. The trying to figure it out.
Pause.
And gently ask yourself:
“What would it feel like to trust that this is already in motion?”
You don’t have to know how.
You don’t have to see it yet.
Just soften into the possibility that it’s unfolding.
Take a breath.
And let yourself rest there for a moment.
If this brought something up for you, or you noticed where you might be holding on a little tighter than you realized, just hit reply and tell me.
I read every message.
With you,
Lynn
