Day 149: Coming Home to Yourself
I was walking on the beach and thinking about how life works.
And I have a very big statement of Universal truth I want to share with you.
Everything we are and everything we have in our life is the result of either being alignment or out of alignment with the principles that operate our world.
While I was walking I was thinking back to ancient texts that I’ve read along with the people who have lived in the last 150 years or so that I have read their work.
They all have the same through line.
We can’t be aligned with what Source energy is transmitting if we are misaligned within ourselves and don’t change frequencies to tune in to what is available to us.
Wayne Dyer says we came from Unlimited Abundance and we are the ones who left that frequency. And when we realign with those frequencies, we will recognize them.
They will sound familiar.
I look at it as coming home to yourself. It will feel vaguely familiar at the same time it you’re experiencing it for the first time.
Who am I and why am I here?
Those are the two major questions people are most deeply curious about.
We are on this journey to recognize and honor our souls desires.
That’s what it is to live from a place of alignment. Looking back,I feel like I spent my first almost 40 years deeply out of alignment.
By the time I was 24 I was really good at manifesting when it came to material things like where I lived, having financial success and recognizing my talents.
But at the core of who I was as a person, I was missing the point of all the books I was studying.
I was so out of alignment with my soul that while I was very successful in business, I was a disaster when it came to personal relationship.
It took me more than another decade to be ready to take the journey to integrate all parts of who I am and love all of me.
And being in alignment, like everything else we humans experience, is a sliding scale.
Sometimes we are more aligned than others and sometimes in certain areas more than others.
We are always learning lessons along the way and those require bumps in the road, little side trips to deepen our understanding.
And when we come through those bumps, we understand ourselves and our world at a deeper level because it has helped us to grow and change.
And each time we return to alignment more fully and feel more at home within ourselves.
And maybe that’s why moments of alignment feel so meaningful when they happen.
Not because we become someone new, but because for a moment we recognize ourselves more clearly again.
Today’s Gentle Practice
Notice today if there is an area of your life where you feel disconnected from yourself.
Not disconnected from achievement or productivity, but from your deeper sense of inner truth, peace, or alignment.
Then gently ask yourself:
“What feels genuinely true for me here?”
Not what other people expect. Not what you’ve been conditioned to believe. Not what looks good from the outside.
Just what feels true.
Sometimes alignment begins with quietly recognizing where we’ve abandoned ourselves along the way.
And sometimes returning to alignment feels less like becoming someone new and more like finally coming home to yourself again.
With you,
Lynn
