Day 88: The Power of Emotional Alignment
A critical part of moving across the threshold from your old life into your new one is learning to be aligned with your emotions.
To recognize, in real time, when something within you shifts downward… and gently bring yourself back using the tools you’ve been practicing.
Once you begin to notice where your emotional set point is, something changes.
You’re no longer moving through life unconsciously.
You’re participating in it.
And over time, you begin to feel more steady within yourself.
Less easily pulled out of your center.
This isn’t something you’ll do perfectly.
But even doing it a little starts to shift how you experience everything.
People will notice.
Not because you’re trying to be different.
But because you are.
There’s a quiet strength that comes with being more self-led.
More internally anchored.
This quote from The Teachings of Abraham speaks to this:
“To be the deliberate creator of your own experience, you will be one who has decided to direct your thoughts.
For only when you deliberately choose the direction of your thoughts can you deliberately affect your own point of attraction.
You cannot continue to observe and believe things in the same way you always have and make changes in your point of attraction.
Any more than you can set your radio dial to 630 AM and receive the broadcast from 101 FM.
Your vibrational frequencies have to match.”
The point of attraction is where your thoughts and your feelings meet.
It’s the moment something you’re thinking creates a shift in your body.
I’ve always felt it as a strengthening through the center.
Like your backbone becomes more solid.
And when you feel in complete alignment in your own truth, it feels like you have a backbone made of steel.
Nothing will move you.
You know who you are, what you want, and your focus feels different now.
You’re clear.
You’re grounded.
You know what you want, without needing to force it.
But that kind of alignment asks something of you.
It asks you to release beliefs that no longer serve you.
To be willing to see yourself, and your life, differently.
It also asks for honesty.
You can’t say you want one thing, while continuing to think and move in the opposite direction.
That’s the part about trying to find your frequency on the wrong station.
And then they continue:
“When fully focused upon your desire, and your vibrational offering purely reflects that, you feel wonderful.
And when focused upon the absence of something you truly want, you feel awful.
Your emotions always let you know what you are doing with your vibration.
Your emotions always let you know what your point of attraction is.
By paying attention to your emotions, and by deliberately offering thoughts that affect the way you feel, you can guide yourself into the frequency that allows what you desire.”
It can be simple.
Listening to a song you love.
Stepping outside.
Petting your dog.
Small things that shift how you feel.
When you feel off, it’s often a signal.
A sign that your thoughts are resting on what’s missing, or what’s been lost.
And when your thoughts move toward what you want, even gently, you feel that too.
It really is that simple.
Not always easy.
But simple.
And the most important part is this:
What you focus on is something you can choose.
Moment by moment.
If this resonates, I’d love to hear where you’ve noticed your focus shifting lately.

Today’s Gentle Practice
Pause for a moment today.
Notice how you’re feeling without trying to change it.
Then gently ask yourself:
“What am I focusing on right now?”
If it feels heavy, see if you can reach for one thought that feels just slightly better.
Stay with it for a few breaths.
Notice the shift, even if it’s small.
If this resonates, I’d love to hear where you’ve noticed your focus shifting lately.
With you,
Lynn
